Hi
I am trying to use Grid Factory to create Datum grid. Problem is in input file format. I can add one by one par of points, but when you have few hundreds of points it is not fun. There is option to load ASCII file but there is no description of ASCII format. It must contain point ID, From latitude, From longitude, From Height, To latitude, To longitude, To height. I try few user defined formats but no success. Does anyone has sample of this input file format?
Thanks

I think I may just have what you need. These are for a shift grid I needed to created but I think the process may be the same for geoids.
From memory these are imported into TBC. I believe the newer versions do not have the help on the format. Older version 2.6 does - in the help file, which is where I copied and pasted this for future reference.
Hope this helps

Actually, sorry I don't think this will help with the geoid files. I will leave the info up for anyone looking for help with shift grid files though.
Check Page 20 of the attached. Good luck!
Thanks anyway
This is for shift grid, but I need to create datum grid files (lat.dgf, lon.dgf, height.dgf) from points with known coordinates in local and global system. I need help with import format to software...
I have an idea...
Nevermind

Is p.20 of the last attachment any use? It relates to Trimble Grid Factory Datum grids I believe.
