I see that Adobe just increased their subscription for Acrobat Pro to $312 per year. I create PDFs with high resolution background images such as, satellite imagery, aerial photos and drone images. I am looking for an alternative. I use Autodesk Map 3D, 2021 on a Windows 10 machine with 64 GB or RAM.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Have you tried the DWG to PDF plotter that comes with ACAD?
Thanks John.
I tried that decades ago and didn't get good results, but that was on a Windows XP machine with Map 2004. I'll check it out and see how it handles large files now. I have a 1.7 GB drone image I need make prints for geologic mapping at a fossil quarry.
Edit to previous post: It was a later version than Map 2004.
We use Kofax and Bluebeam, I prefer the latter for editing reasons.
