Anybody have some processing software that will trim and observation file. I have a 1.9mb file but when sent to opus it comes back as a 20 minute rapid static. (I started with new software for the gps and didn't think it was working and stopped and restarted but somehow its all in one file) I need the first 20± minutes shaved off. The remaining file should be around 6-7 hours. I have the standard static-whatever.jps file for a Javad Triumph-1 but also have converted it to a rinex files (g,h,n, and o). Anyone?

Send me the RINEX ?.13o file, and I'll take a look at it (and trim it).

take a look at the rinex file in notepad and you'll see the times. The marker name portion is really important. its not really tough to manipulate them.

You can use the RTKCONV utility from RTKLIB 2.4.2 to convert and/or trim RINEX files. It's open source software. Binaries for Windows are available for download. I've been using RTKLIB for years now. It's very easy to use and it's FREE.

I believe RTKlib uses TEQC for rinex manipulation and QC, but the windows interface is nice. I use the RTKpost part for baseline processing. RTKplot shows nice graphics of the TEQC-generated QC. I would love it if someone on this site who really knows about the math which goes into GPS post-processing evaluated the software. I personally think it is great. It is put out by some Japanese maritime college, and seems to be well-documented and in continuous development.
