I just downloaded "onXhunt" into this phone.?ÿ
Now, that's a handy app.
Since I figure these cell phones are tracking us most always, even if permissions are not granted, I'm wondering. Is there a way my wife could access my ping, or signal, from home, and keep track of me in the woods?
Or, another pkg, using Google Earth, so she can keep up with my whereabouts?
Thanks!
Nate
I phones have an app that will track your phone and others as long as you allow people to know where you are. You can track hers as well, and friends to if they allow you to.
I use the Arc Gis Field Maps app on Iphone. Arkansas has data available in layers for; Arial Photos, Parcel polygons, parcel info, topo’s, glo plats, etc.. works with GPS in phone to show location. Does require cell signal to load.. Basically same as web browser version Surveyor Map 2.1
wife and I also use find my phone feature on Iphone to keep track of each other.
Take a look at Landglide app. It's updated more often, show tax info and has direct link to county records.
@leegreen thanks.
I just downloaded it. 1 week trial. Then 100$ a year
Google Maps has a feature where you can share your location with selected parties. Easy to turn off when you want to sneak around. I also use Glympse to send tracking information to my wife when I'm boating on the ocean. It has an optional timer feature so it automatically shuts off at the end of your specified time, or when you arrive back home. We have also installed Life360 for keeping an eye on my kid when off on school field trips, etc. I haven't decided which one I like best, since I don't use any of them all that often.
Nate you can get a cow bell. And leave a wet towel where it is not supposed to be and leave the lid up. I guarantee she will find you. My wife can. They have a natural device built in. When i try my hardest not to be found bam she is right in front of me. Just kidding.
Had some young co workers that had some app that they knew where each other was at all times. The ladies always used some app when one of them had a date so they could help keep track of each other. I use to hear about all of this at my govy job in Northern VA. I thought some of those young ladies were very smart in how they used the technology to try and watch out for each other. My wife uses my phone all the time to find hers when she misplaced hers. Maybe one of those air tags they talk about.

It might have been Life360. This is the one that my friends and I use for the same reason. 🙂 I have also used the iPhone's Find My Friends feature with friends, which is pretty similar but I don't think it's as reliable or informative. It's also limited to use only between iPhones.
