New computer and TBC issue

I know i am an idiot. Especially on computer settings. I was given a brand new laptop. I started transferring things from my old one today and started getting all my junk organized again.  Anyway when I open up Trimble Business Center the ribbon at the top and the words for menus are so small and look like they are not completely visible. It is that way wether it’s on the laptop itself or when i move it to my larger monitor.  Is it something in TBC that i can change or a computer issue like screen resolution. This thing is supposed to be a good computer so i can process scan data and all. My current one is slower than molasses on a cold day. Lol.
