I'm not sure how to have one item print in color while the other items use the colors to lineweights table. Could someone give me a simple way to do this?

Thanks

Make the waterline layer a color that is one shade off from red (#10 if it's not used elsewhere) and set that color to plot as the true color in your color dependent plot style (.ctb file). That will make anything that's color 10 print in color while everything else remains black.

Of course this assumes that you've drawn all your linework for the waterline with the color setting of "ByLayer".

I did a tutorial on that several years ago. The exact steps will vary somewhat depending on your software. But you can read the post and watch the video and get the idea.

Using Color on your Plats

Hope that helps.
