Is it possible to translate or rotate an imported drawing to aid in staking out deed corners?

I have no access at the moment but i believe somewhere in the Cogo menu. This is with version 4 though. It's certainly possible.
Bump. Lee?

Yes, there are a few ways to do this.
Unfortunatly I am heading to Orlando airport now for 1pm flight back to frozen, snow covered NY.

Yes and no. You can't translate the drawing separately. But you can transform the entire project using 2d Transform, which works similar to a localization. You can translate and rotate points to bring your points to the drawing datum.
When importing CAD files I suggest you always "Load as background drawing", it is under settings during the import. This will load the line work much faster. It can include the text and blocks as points. You will also have the option to turn on/off the linework, and delete the linework file. Each file will serve as an Xref or sorts in the map properties
menu.
Thanks, Lee. I'm disappointed I can't move the drawing to my points. My typical work flow in Survce is to import a dxf of the subdivision or deed and then once I find some corners I will move and rotate the drawing to aid in the stake out process.
Who do I talk to about getting that put on the to do list?

You can talk to @pmoran from Topcon/Sokkia about this.
I'll check with Product Management.
