My HP 430 is finally dead. I use a plotter less and less, but I do need it.

HP T120 or Canon iPF 605 seems like the available choices.

Suggestions?

I have always had a soft spot for HP plotters. Had an HP500 for 5 years until it gave up on me maybe 2 years ago. I can only vouch for this model & it really gives crisp lines & when I need photo quality graphics it also delivers.
Like you I have been using it less & less & when it died I just used a printing shop for my hardcopies.
Repairman said that it would cost less than $500 to repair it at that time but there was a printing shop just around the corner so I just retired it to my museum of used equipments.:-D

I got an HP 110plus 3 yrs ago. I am very pleased with the output. this printer is now out of production. I think it has been replaced by the 111.
The machine is slow, especially on large drawings, but plotting speed is not critical to me, since there isnt much going on. If there were multi jobs waitng to be done the lack of speed would be irritating; but I suppose when (or if) work gets back to former levels, I could easily afford to buy a faster machine.

The Hp 110-120 plus series is a low end, good on ink alternative that will rival plots from the big guys. As said above it is a little slow, but since I maybe make a large plot 10 times a month, it is worth the dollars. I do use it for everything else from 8x11 to 24x36, but mainly 18x24 since that is my counties subdivision plat size.

Most of my survey's come out on 11x17 and it will crank 5 out in about the time to drink a cup of coffee.

Besides that it is a table top, I just do not have room in my little office for anything else.
