I am running AUTO CAD 2000. I have not used it for survey plots in 15+ years and I am having trouble remembering how to enter Meets & Bound data in the command line. I have a Shooting Range development project coming up and would like to use CAD.
Any help would be appreciated.

Pulldown menu:
Line by bearing and distance.
There's a way to enter the Bearing and Distance in the command line....I would need to refresh my memory to provide any more information. It's how we had to do it before the "line by bearing & distance" command existing.

'bd gives the bearing and distance option. I still use the old fashioned @dist<bearing
My version dose not have the "Line by Bearing & Distance' pull down option.
My units are: Length Type-Engineering, Angle-Surveyors, Direction-North CW
I can not remember who to type in the Meets&Bounds in the command line.
Be careful...around that time there were data entry options. You could enter N55-00-00E as Q1 then 55.0000 OR Q1 then 55D00'00" depending on which method you wanted to use.
If you're using regular bearings that'd look something like
LINE -> [pick] -> @157.22<N55D37'30"W [enter]
Make sure you check your UNITS, Angle Type set to Surveyor's Units with the precision you like and that Direction (below) is set to East. Once set those will remain.
I recently used a little AI to help me write a LisP routine that makes running boundaries a little breezier, but I use Az as the input (in my case, So Az). Welcome to give it a run if you'd like. It may work in 2000 unless it's an LT version.
