Does anyone use this software? Is it any good? Pros vs. cons? Is there something better that someone can suggest?

Thanks in advance.

I used Legal-Aid for years (Until I got Carlson Survey with it's built in deed writer) and never had a problem with it.
It rock steady software that is easy to use and works as advertised.
I have found all of the software put out by AGT to be VERY good and reasonably priced.
If you need a deed writer, you won't find a better one anywhere that I have seen.

Used it for a few years at a company I worked for in Florida. It worked great and if I recall correctly you can customize the way it calls out lines and curves to fit your style of description writing.

The sample legal description they have on their website is poorly written. I bet you would have trouble plotting that legal if you didn't have a sketch in front of you.

I noticed that too. Just watched the tutorial and it seems like you can easily customize the way it produces the description to your preference. It's on sale, so maybe I'll jump on it.

Thanks for the input all.

I've been using it for years. It is very customize-able, you can build 3 templates that describe exactly how you like your bearings, distances, curves, et all to appear. It also allows you to describe points as you select them and to have remote points of commencement.

The first time I used it was on description that was around 10 pages of calls. Paid for itself then and there.

I've used it for almost 8 years or so. works good once you have your calls defined how you like. Always need to check the curve data though. It likes to round seconds up or down. Now they make you purchase a license every year, but it's cheap.
