What is the latest revision of Survey Pro for the TDS Ranger 200C? Also, will the TDS Ranger 200C work with a Trimble 5603 2.4GHz robotic total station?
My real issue: I have a Trimble/Spectra Focus 5603 robotic total station with a Geodimeter CU data collector and a 2.4GHz radio (which works with this particular setup). The GeoCU does not want to communicate with any of my PC's or laptops (yes I read all the suggestions on that thread - all to no avail). So I am looking for a reasonably priced (i.e. used) data collector that will essentially replace the GeoCU for small "tacheometric exercises" and "setouts". Thanks.
I don't know the answer to some of your questions but the last version of TDS Survey Pro that will run on a Ranger 200C is V 4.5.3
I suppose if you have a radio module for the data collector that can be connected to the Ranger via the serial port, that might work as well but don't know more than that.
To answer your second question. Yes 4.5.3 will run a 5603. As long as you have Survey Pro Robotics and the right radio.
