What is the procedure to get a different tool bar (say object snap) to appear on the desktop.
I know you go to
view
toolbars but when I select it I cant get it to appear
what am i missing

Can't you just press "Ctrl" and left click on the screen?

yes I can do that for snaps however I was wanting procedure for adding any toolbar
