Anybody know how to label a point with the station and offset from a HAL? Need to label the R/W points with station/offset on a drawing and I can't find any way to do it.

If you go to Reports > Identify Station, it will give you an ID of the Station and Offset. Just snap to where you want on the R/W line. In the draft menu, there is a command to label the Station Values but I could not figure out how to have it label the offset as well. Maybe label the station, ID the offset, then edit the label. Sorry, I am not much help as I just started using Terramodel a few weeks ago.

Draft a text and add EAT codes. Then you can copy the text and edit the point numbers and HAL you want to label. Quite powerful as you can move the point and everything updates automatically. I use it to put coordinates on plats as well.

I figured it was in there somewhere, but I can't figure out the method. I have it all drawn, just can't seem to get it to work. I have to create a separate control monument sheet for each R/W monument, with a sketch, so I need to label 67 of them, then create 67 sketches. Any assistance appreciated.

We had a tml written for this specific use by Tim Hamilton out in California. Let me know if you would like his contact info.

Thanks to Leon, he got me going, although there may be a better way. Email the info to the address in my profile and I'll check it out.

Thanks

Create a callout utilizing the EAT codes. Here's the text I use in the callout feature:

Sta:HAL{SS}
O/S:HAL{OS,2}
