Enjoy. I've been trying out the new IntelliCAD 8 with Carlson 15. Had one issue that seems that the culprit had been found. Now to see if it gets fixed soon. Other than that, the program works well. I miss the ribbons from ACAD and express tools. But other than that I haven't struggled too much.
Nothing too special in this new version as far as I can tell, a few new bells and whistles.
Still trying yo figure out how to export 3D PDF. Where is the routine, not too sure. The software is also capable of creating movies of the 3D drive by. It seems that movies can only be viewed within the program. Which is less of an appeal if you want to make movies to send to clients.
I haven't played too much with it yet, so it maybe a case of user not knowing.

Not to hijack the post, but I have been using Intellicad v7.2 with Carlson 2014, (I got lucky and bought it just before the new release....yea for me!!), anyway, Just out of curiosity, what kind of pdf driver are you using to print with? Currently I am using "PDFCREATOR" but the file size is anywhere between 50-70 MB!! The same exact drawing using Autocad's "DWGtoPDF" driver the file size is around 2 mb. Any ideas?

Not to hijack your hijack, but if you bought the OEM version in the last 90 days, you may be entitled to the just released 2015 at no additional cost. Certainly worth checking on...

Guessing here, but, it sounds like it is converting to raster and dropping the vector information. Has to be a setting there somewhere

Thanks...I will check into both.

I've been using cutepdf for about 10 years now.

I have looked at cutepdf and have a few questions.
1. what size are your files typically?
2. do you have the free version or did you pay for the 'professional' version?

Check your density, seems like the default is max, which makes huge files.
