I am having an issue with my Husky, I believe, FS2, and the TDS robotics software.
It is not allowing me to do any directional/directional intersections, even one as simple as a square.
When I try to solve for a solution it gives me an error message of "system error" and when I press the "any" key it exits all the way back to the home screen.
It sounds like a reboot is a possible fix, but I have never done that with this data collector and I would not know how to get it back into the software after I reboot.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dan

I think holding the power button did a soft reboot. Holding down the power button with the esc and shift keys (or the 2 shift keys, being the 2 keys on either side of the enter key) did a hard reboot.

Best to be using fresh AA batteries, a charged lithium battery does not have enough current to wake up these old Huskys or keep them from locking up.
If still a problem:
Yeah, like Bowtie says, hold down all 3 keys, then release the red power key first, then a second later try releasing the other two. Or vice-versa, I can't recall. The screen will flash thru. some bios and programming codes that are too fast to read. Ignore all that. Then type in TDS enter then again TDS enter
If that does not work try typing
cd/TDS wait for the screen to accept that, then type
TDS
Always worked for me. Keep in mind these Huskys have a hard drive disc that develops corrupted sectors that need to be wiped clean. A guy in Pennsylvania Charles Nillsen of 'IRIS' who supplies old-time forester people with these units is one of the few people left who knows how to fix these. Huskys and FS2's start at $1000 minimum to get your system like new again with a re-built unit.
