I'm a 'grips' user in autocad. I like to 'tentative' everything I'm gonna move or change properties, etc. by clicking on the object and having the grips come on..then I modify the entities. I guess it's just a leftover from my Bentley days with the State.

Somehow, I've changed a toggle to where I can only turn the grips on one entity at a time. If I click on another entity, the first selection's grips turn off. WTF. I can't figger the toggle out...any help out there from the younger, smarter and quicker?

Paden,

If I right click on my screen and choose options, then choose the "selection" tab, there's an option to "use shift to add to selection". I have to make sure that option is un-checked in order to grip multiple objects at one time.

Hope that helps.

It might have gotten changed in the Properties palette... There's a button up near the top that toggles the PICKADD variable.
