would anyone be willing to take my small pond topo and post a "stage volume curve" on it, with Carlson? Mine does not have hydrology module. does anyone know how hard and costly it would be to add a hydrology module to my Carlson? I do about one pond volume per decade. thanks in advance.

Sure email dwg to lee@leegreen dot com
If you can generate contours, you can always calculate volumes manually.
If this becomes too time consuming...... iterative volumes for pond sizing design for instance, then you are better off purchasing a software package to simplify your process.
Please don't take this the wrong way, but in an industry where we are constantly infighting about professionalism and undervaluing our product, asking for (free) help to produce your (paid for) product is a symptom of these issues.
If your fee structure does not give you enough profit to upgrade your software OR if you are taking on work you are not equipped to complete, then perhaps your more expensive competition would be better suited for the task at hand.
Summer, your point is well taken. Please note that I am far from the least expensive competition around here, and my Carlson is only 2 years old - so I'm not quite stone age yet. For what I do as a solo company, even I was surprised to learn that I do not have the hydrology module. Volume is within my area of expertise, and I am (and have always on this board) the first to confess that cutting edge software is one of my many lesser skills.
