I have a Carlson FLD file (feature code list) I'd like to use on a TSC3 data collector, which uses the FXL file format natively. Anyone know a way to use the FLD file or convert it to FXL? Thanks.

Hmm, maybe I need to ask a different question...
Those who use Carlson on Autocad and the TSC, how do you share feature codes between the two?
My office sets up the field-to-finish codes in Carlson (saves as an FLD file). The codes are hand-entered into the data collector (saves as an FXL file). I'm thinking there's got to be a way to transfer codes digitally. Any insight?
I think the problem you will run into is that the flx uses features and not descriptions so when you export an ascii you have no description. The only reason to use the flx files is if you want to do auto line work, to process auto line work you need Spectra Survey Office or Business Center. I do believe you can have Carlson export a f2f list save it as an ascii from excel and import it that way.
