Working a picture location key plan from my earlier post on photo management.

The base drawing has a D-1 Drainage sheet that is prefect for my purpose, however there are 32 other sheets & a boat load of data I don't need.

Is there a way in civil 3d '15 to export just the model data relevant to that layout tab?

I know I can save as, invert isolate vp layers and delete the unneeded lines/data, or maybe could wblock thru the viewport to get to where I want to be; but this seems longhanded and assuming (hoping) somewhere in the complexity of acad there is a simpler way.

Thanks

I would think that using the properties button to identify the line types you want to display, turning off the other layers, then wblocking what you need is the most efficient procdure. I'm just field crew though.

I am not entirely sure what you are attempting to accomplish, but have you tried working from the layout you want and double clicking inside the viewport and selecting everything within?

I'm not at work, and I've only done this a couple of times, but I think if you right click over your tab, one option you will have is to Export Layout, or something similar. Give that a try.
