Upon further review, it appears newer versions of Carlson will handle it, but mine won't.

There's a computer across the hall that will do it.

For all us that don't have a converter......that are using Carlson CES w/R14

Is there a download that will do the conversion from DWG to KMZ

I just type KML in model space and select the lines I want to export, you can do text as well it just never looks great. I also found it looks better if you use a line with no line weight.
