Don't come, Don't go..

I was thinking that it would be a cool thing to have this as a function in a CAD system:

Lines, like setback lines or easements on a lot, could be tagged as "don't pass" lines. As in "don't pass across me" lines.

Lines for a house layout could be tagged "don't cross" lines, and would be prevented from being dragged or drawn across the "don't pass" lines.

I think this could prevent the accidental placement of a staked structure in a setback or easement.

Sound handy?
