Lately I have been unable to load mylar. I have been using the same roll for several years with no problems yet it now rejects it. Any ideas?:-)

Make sure the leading edge is 90°. A bad cut, I seem to remember, can cause problems.

We had exactly the same problem with our 430 a couple years ago. There is a small laser reader attached to the print head which scans the size of the paper when you first feed in into the plotter. Ours was going bad and had weakened to the point where it would not reflect off the mylar. I could get mylar to feed by piggybacking it with a sheet of paper, but not by itself. As I recall, the tech had difficulty getting a replacement part for the our 430, but it's been working fine since.
