I am looking to create a purchase order for computers to be used in a University Surveying/GIS/Photogrametry lab. The computers need to run all of the software and serve for three to four years.
Please offer your thoughts and recommendations.
Need rough specs for computers, monitors, Hard drives, RAM, graphics cards, etc,
Please be specific where it counts: i.e. graphics card because XXXXX Software recommends, etc.

Heres what I'm running and I haven't run into anything that has slowed it down.
Its a Refurbished Dell I bought off Ebay for around 1100 a few months ago. I run Acad on it every day.

Monitor was not included, I've been using a 24" Dell Refurb for about 4 years now.
