So question. I have a civil 3d 2022 set up have my settings and company template all ready to go. I create a fbk file from my TBC csv file and do the auto linework. For the most part it did everything. A few things but all good. I had already drawn it as well in TBC. But as a check because TBC was more complete than civil 3d I exported the linework as a 2018 dwg us survey foot etc. I did a ddinsert into civil 3d but a shift between them about the difference of usft to international foot is there another setting somewhere in civil3d i am missing. I have had it do this with a landxml file and found it had a different setting other than the drawing setting itself. I am trying to figure out how to get my 80 plus percent drafting from field codes symbol block’s linework to always come in correctly in civil3d.
The other issue I am having is at my work office i have my laptop on a docking station and for some reason in paper space on the view window if i try and right mouse click and open properties it doesn’t work along with some other commands in model space as well. I undock and do not use the docking station they work. But now i have a little laptop screen. Could the docking station be the issue.
