It's not all Carlson that got you those results. You established a good descriptor list, you made up a good .DWT file ,you set up the .FLD file correctly and you used the codes correctly in your field file. With all of that, you could get nothing but good results.
The initial configuration is a pain, but well worth the effort and it is a one time thing. As long as the field crews use the proper descriptions and line codes, you will get this result on every survey from now on.
What used to take 3 days to draw will now be done in minutes and because the line work is being generated by someone actually looking at the site while doing the field work, the number of trips to "go back and get what we missed the first time" will be greatly reduced, if not eliminated. That all equals INCREASED PROFITS.
Carlson simply rocks and cost so much LESS that it is probably the best money a surveyor will spend on any piece of equipment.
