I recently did a control survey with 66 targets (in a building) with 6 control points using a GeoMax robot. I put the whole thing in SurvNet v18. This was my first use of this new version since updating to Survey 2024. I've been using SurvNet for several years now and it's been good, but somewhat clunky. The new interface is great and I found I was able to use a backsight coordinate rather than needing to put in a backsight bearing, which is quite convenient for many of my applications.
The user interface is much cleaner and it processed my file without incident. I'm always quick to complain about something not working right. I thought I should give proper credit where it is due. The new SurvNet is a step up.
Thanks for the heads up. It's time I gave it another try!
I've been a Carlson user since 2002, while I do not dig deep into its full capabilities, I've always considered their software and tech support outstanding.
