Good morning, I have a quick question about drawing arcs. I seem to remember being able to draw an arc be picking the start, end, and then "dragging a direction". I cannot seem to find that option in Carlson 2016 embedded AutoCad.
Am I overlooking it?

I can only get it to work by drawing arc by the arc command. I don't get the direction option if i arc while in a polyline.
The direction option must be stripped out of the OEM engine for Carlson. My versions (2016 and 2017) do not have it.
You can go to the pull down menu
Draw, Arc and then pick your sequence.
Your probably right about another thing stripped out of the OEM version.
It's like AutoDesk left just enough commands out of the OEM version, hoping it will get $3000 a year annoying or what ever a subscription cost.

You'll want/need to run the native AutoCAD ARC command via the .ARC key-in command (note the period preceding the command).

Is using the decimal preceding an AutoCad native command something that Carlson came up with or is this an AutoCad thing. I believe I previously used the dash for older AutoCad commands

I guess the dash is to bring up a command line version of the command
I type in ONLY ARC, then pick one end point, pick the second, type D on the command and pull the arc in the direction I desire. Works every time.
