Ok, you're wrong there. I am saving while I'm editing, and the first save comes right after I delete the PT line. So, that's definitely not it.

Either it's a setting or some users aren't using assumed coordinates and deleting them. Or they're running the rw5 in the assumed system and then rotating later.

Make your changes and save. Then restart the F2F program. Do you still have the old data?

well for what it is worth, i just opened a rw5 file, deleted the 5000,5000 entry saved the file and closed the editor, then reopened the editor and it is still deleted...so not sure, but it sounds like a procedural thing, open your file make your changes and try a save as to a new file name, then close that file..close the editor and reopen the new file name...are the changes still coming back?

Yes, it's still happening.

As Foggy said, I can live with it, have been for 5 or more years.

I remember when I switched from CS04 to CS07 or 06, that's when I first noticed this happening.

Maybe it's the collector.

It happens with both the TDS Ranger and Carlson Surveyor+.

I don't remember it happening with my old 48.

Oh, well.

I am not saying that you are not saving, I am saying the program isnt saving the changes until you exit..try breaking down each step you do and you will find out what is happening. My guess is that you are either discarding the changes or you are reopening the original file...the key is to make your changes and then after you make the changes save to a new file name. that will tell us something
