I need to plot to a pdf. I am using pdfcreator. I need to make the plot 18"x26", but there is not sheet size for that. Any suggestion on how to plot to a custom sheetsize.

thanks for your help

You should have "pdf" as an option in Carlson for plotting. Check the plotter option.

Dane,

Just create a Post Script Custom page size. That is what I do when I use PDF995. Works great.

Hope this helps.

Jimmy

Dane,

Not sure. I just stumbled onto it while trying to fix a rotation problem when plotting. You have to select that page size, and then I believe it will allow you to create the page.

You might have to stumble through it. That is what i had to do several years ago.

I will try to find it tomorrow when I get back to the office.

Jimmy

Dane,

Did you get it figured out?

Sorry, Don't have my work laptop with me at the moment, so don't have access to Carlson at the moment. I set those pages up a few years ago, and have not had to mess with them since.

Jimmy

YEP-
SELECT PROPERTIES BAR FOR THE SELECTED PLOTTER
SELECT CUSTOM PROPERTIES FROM THE CUSTOM PROPERTIES BAR
NEXT MENU PAPER SIZE NEXT MENU
SELECT CUSTOM PAGE SCRIPT
HERE YOU MAY ENTER SHEET SIZE
SELCT OK THREE TIMES

MENU CHANGES TO PRINTER
THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO APPLY A ONE TIME CHANGE GOOD FOR JUST THE CURRENT PLOT OR CREATE A NEW PC3.

NICE TO FIND CARKSINS DOES NOT SEEM TO DOCUMENT THIS WELL

I use primopdf and under printers and faxes, you can set the custom postscript size of the sheet to whatever you want, clip the windows and print away.

Also, be advised, if you change the custom postscript size, you must exit the program and restart AutoCAD before the changes are recognized.
