Line tables have been playing havoc lately . Line labels disappearing out of the blue . Just got my ass handed to me for not having lots that close. I had just checked the drawing the day before i sent the map out. This has been happening at least a handfull of times . Watch it close.
o.O
I have noticed lately where my line and curve tables would disappear on me. I would just exit and come back in and they would reappear. I have not noticed (yet) any of the table values changing on me. I have been running Carlson 2013 on IntelliCAD 7.2.
You might consider going into your line/curve table defaults and making sure "Automatic Table Updates" is checked off. I would also lock the lot layer after they are finalized.
RE: Line labels disappearing
Do you ever copy labels and paste them along a different line and edit them?
If so, your disappearing labels are probably related to object linking, where the label remembers which entity it belongs to.
There is a setting that tells Carlson to erase existing labels associated with the entities you are labeling.
You can test it out by drawing two polylines. Auto-annotate the first then copy/paste a bearing/distance label over to the second one. When you re-annotate the first polyline, the labels on the second will probably be erased.
Just a guess.
