ALL POINTS ON POLYLINE
This would allow you to create a final boundary, and make the actual final points nice and big, for creation of a worksheet. As is, I do this manually.
Most boundary polylines, are a combination of existing points, and created ones. This would allow all of them to be one size.
Also, it would be nice to CHANGE THE LAYER of all the points on a given poly line. This way, you could FREEZE everything, except the final pts. This also would make thing faster.
Can I get a second?

It's a personal quirk of mine I know, but I have never understood the concept of "changing the layers of the points", or resizing the points so that you can see special ones better. But then, I realise everyone does everything differently and that's cool. B-)
Most of my work involves large topos, so keeping all of the points in the drawing makes for SUPER BIG *.dwg files and that slows stuff down. When I deliver a final drawing to the client, the points are not in the drawing file. If they need coordinates, I send a comma delimited *.txt file for their use.
Now, yes, there are MANY times when I want only certain points to show up in my drawing. I am not going to send them to specific layers for later use. (I have too many layers already and that can slow things down too.) This situation is exactly why we have point groups. Set up a point group called "Final boundry" and use the point group to bring in JUST your final boundry points. You can import and erase them at will. Makes for a cleaner and easier to read work copy. You can use your point groups to easily make clear and easy to use stake out prints.
Point Groups are just easier than trying to remember 27 layer names and loading all that mess into your drawing and then tracking what needs to be turned on and off.
Look, I am 65 and my memory is not what it used to be. Selecting what I want from a list of point groups is much easier than going through all those layers and trying to remember what to turn on and off. In my case the KISS system is imperitive!! :-$
But, if you insist, there is a way to bring points in and put them on specific layers by description. Look under "Draw, Locate points" and I think you will see the selection box.

Sounds like you need to put your points on unique layers. Then you can isolate them and do whatever you want with them.....
Roadburner, that would work. Just allow me to select a polyline, and it automatically selects all the points on that polyline, and allows me to change the layer of all those points. Then, I can freeze all the other pnts, and I can resize all the points that are on that polyline.
Just the ability to SELECT points, by selecting a polyline, would do it for me.

That's one of a few things Terramodel can do that I wish Carlson could develop.
I've taken the liberty of submitting this suggestion into the Carlson programming team for consideration in a future release of the product.

Thanks Ladd
I was trying to see how many folks would like it, b4 submitting it.
Glad it is on the table.
