I worked with Joe at VMK in Houston in the early 90's. He was a mentor of mine. One of the hardest points of reality/mortality is he was only 1 year older than me. I had not seen him in a few years and found his obit only after checking into the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS.org) website.
