Neal H. Wirt, VA LS 1294, 73 of Pulaski,VA died Saturday June 15, 2013 at Lewis Gale Hospital – Pulaski, following a lengthy illness.
Neal was a good ol' fellow. Old school surveyor. I'm not sure if he ever owned a computer, per se, but he sure knew how to work the 11C (or was it a 10C or 12C) like a wizard. He always carried that thing, even in the courthouse. I never worked with Neal, but I've sure worked off a lot of his work. Neal did an awful lot of "mortgage surveys" from the early-80's to the early 00's. It was his bread and butter. Never had any real problems with any of his surveys, other than the occasional one might not be recorded, but that probably wasn't his fault.
