Michael Alan Francks (1947- 2011)
Mike was born May 19, 1947 in Coffeyville, Kansas.
He graduated from Englewood High School and went to the Colorado School of Mines.
A professional Land Surveyor, he and his wife, Carol, established Columbine Surveying in 1976. They ran a successful business for the last 35 years. He was a proud grandpa and loyal season ticket holder for his beloved Denver Broncos. Mike was MG car enthusiast extraordinaire and a founding member of Rocky Mountain T Register. He was a passionate poker player who enjoyed those he played with.
He is survived by his wife Carol, daughter, Heidi Harding, her husband Woody and their two children Haley (13) and Jack (10). He also leaves behind his son, Michael, and his wife Meredith. Mike died suddenly, September 18, 2011.
A Celebration of his life will be held Thursday, September 22 at 3:00 pm at Hudson Gardens, 6115 South Santa Fe Drive, Littleton, CO 80120 303-797-8565
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hudson Gardens Tribute in honor of Mike Francks or to the Republican Party are requested.
