From Noreen at LSAW:
It is with deepest regret that I inform you of another devastating loss to LSAW and the surveying community. Mike Mickiewicz passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening.
Mike contributed much to our organization and to the surveying community at large. Mike received LSAW’s Award of Merit in 1984, 1992, 1993, 2003, and 2007; served as LSAW State President in 1988; received the Surveyor of the Year Award in 2001; served as the Snohomish Chapter President in 2004; as well as acting as LSAW’s Western Federation of Professional Surveyors Representative for the past 12 years, and our Department of Natural Resources Liaison for the past five years.
Mike leaves a huge hole. We will miss his leadership and counsel.
Sorry to here about Mike, he played a big part in the surveying community....
