My takeaway from case studies of actionable violations in NC is that the Board takes professional measurement as seriously as they do boundary determination.?ÿ They view the assessment of the accuracy of spatial data as the clear purview of a PLS.?ÿ NC even requires a PLS to oversee GIS utility location if any of the utilities cross a boundary.
