Knowledge is knowing that the tomato is a fruit.
Wisdom is not adding it to a fruit salad.

Don't blame me. These came from my cousin who has a reputation for really liking this type of humor!

I never wanted to believe that my Dad was stealing from his job as a road worker. But when I got home, all the signs were there.

What happens to a frog's car when it breaks down?
It gets toad away.

Q: What is the difference between snowmen and snowwomen?
A: Snowballs.

A black Jewish boy runs home from school one day and asks his father, ‰ÛÏDaddy, am I more Jewish or more black?‰Û The dad replies, ‰ÛÏWhy do you want to know, son?‰Û ‰ÛÏBecause a kid at school is selling a bike for $50 and I want to know if I should talk him down to $40 or just steal it!‰Û

A boy is selling fish on a corner. To get his customers' attention, he is yelling, "Dam fish for sale! Get your dam fish here!" A pastor hears this and asks, "Why are you calling them 'dam fish.'" The boy responds, "Because I caught these fish at the local dam." The pastor buys a couple fish, takes them home to his wife, and asks her to cook the dam fish. The wife responds surprised, "I didn't know it was acceptable for a preacher to speak that way." He explains to her why they are dam fish. Later at the dinner table, he asks his son to pass the dam fish. He responds, "That's the spirit, Dad! Now pass the f*cking potatoes!

Ruel,

Given the nature of your avatar, I would think your sense of humor is bit more macabre ...

Knowledge is knowing that strawberries, though they are a fruit, are not a berry. And also knowing that bananas (also a fruit) ARE berries. And also that grapes and currants are berries as well along with our friend, the tomato. Also, cucumbers AND eggplant are technically berries. But raspberries, like strawberries, are NOT berries.

In all of this confusion, wisdom is understanding that a botanical fruit and a culinary fruit are not necessarily the same thing.

Knowledge is knowing that "that" dress "does" make her butt look big.

Wisdom is never admitting that fact to her........or anyone who may pass your comments on to her.

She once asked me if her jeans made her butt look big. I told her that her butt looked big all on its own.

The internal bleeding has stopped, the broken limbs are healing, and I should be out of the hospital next month.

Hah! I know I told this one before, but I had a similar situation.

My wife asked me to hang a mirror on the wall behind her make-up area and mirror, so she could see her hair and stuff from behind. I did, and it was a mostly full-link mirror.

She checked it out after I had hung it and got a great idea as a joke, she came back to me and said "hey you screwed out hanging the mirror, it makes my butt look big".

I told her not to worry, that I actually did a good job. And that she should see her butt in real life.

I'm not sure she got the joke.

Knowledge is knowing the absolutely correct and efficient way to do something. Wisdom is not beating your head against that brick wall anymore.

When you work for the government and your spirit is broken.
