Died today at age 67.
He might check out but he can never leave.
Wow. Just wow....
Glenn Frey dead at 67. What a loss RIP
Quite a musician and performer. Sad to hear he's gone.
I know everybody remembers him for his contribution through the Eagles, but he's a good spectrum of music he produced over the years. Here's one of my personal favorites:
Another great loss. The Eagles were part of my teen years. 2016 is starting to shape up to be a bad year for music
They say that deaths come in threes. Who's next?
Bowie, Lemmy, now Frey - that's enough for a while.
I was in Awanee, North fork area, out by Bass Lake area, the day Elvis died. We were surveying out of that 1957 Ford pannell wagon.
It was summer. 1976, I think. I bought a screwdriver set, that day, with wooden handles. My brother borrowed and broke and lost most of them.

This is still one of SWMBO's favorite songs (mine too):

I wasn't necessarily a fan of his music, but I can say that The Eagles (being a favourite of my parents) shaped my childhood years. I remember learning Eagles songs from our songbook when I was learning to play guitar.
Lemmy, Bowie, and now Frey. Plus Alan Rickman (a fantastic actor) and the guy that did Robin Hood's voice in the Disney cartoon version (I forget his name at the moment). A lot of celebrity names from my life are starting to go. A sad reality we all must face.

I just played that while my daughter and a friend are playing Mario Brothers. They are both singing along.:-D
