This is the backwater of the Flint River. We own all the way to the center of the river which is on the other side of the island in the background.
This is the pond in my father's front yard.
This is a portion of his driveway. It's a half mile from the house to the mailbox.

I was there from Tuesday until Friday morning. The weather was NICE. In the 40's and 50's at night and in the upper 70's in the day time. AND the brim were biting.
