The big boy who left this half of his hat rack behind has been stealing vegetation from my cow herd for a long time. I'm counting this half as six points but some might want to count seven. Danged white-tails. Stumbled onto this "deposit" while strolling over to check on a newborn calf a few days ago. I'm not about to go searching for the other half. This was close enough to a perimeter fence that my bet is it came off while landing. Besides, if I went searching for the mate I would probably find several others of various sizes first, both smaller and larger.

Looks the one that flattened my front tire one day in an old corn field....and I did add it to my collection of found antlers...

[SARCASM]So, I'm guessing there are plenty of "no trespassing" signs printed in English and whatever language deer speak posted every few feet along the perimeter of your property? [/SARCASM]

Do they have a different abacus in Kansas?

They are supposed to note the posts painted purple which signify a need for written permission. None have ever asked for permission so far.

The sixth one sort of blends in with the lower portion. Some would want to count the tiny "dangler" going down from that.

Here's a better view of that one.

Lucky you didn't find it with a tractor tire. I've got several that turned up there or in a combine tire. Don't think I've ever had one flatten a tire, the usually end up stuck in a tread.
