The first grade class at Morning Star Christian School is studying US Geography
and trying to get postcards from all 50 States. So far, they are lacking
ME,NH,VT,MA,CONN,RI,KS,NE,MO,OK,IOWA,ARK,OH,WV,PA,TN,NM & WY.
As of last Friday, the following students have not received more than two postcards:
Nathan, Brooke, Savannah, Matthew, Aidon, and Gabriel.

How about a few from an Oklahoma resident, currently in Texas, who is also a surveyor in three of the states listed. Think that might throw a twist in the teachers tail?

Several postcards heading your way from New Berlin, PA.
Kathy pasted photographs on the back of the cards showing our
local post office; she recently retired as postmaster.
The Post office is located in the original Union County,PA
Courthouse prior to 1850. A museum is located upstairs.
We have a granddaughter named Madi in KG and SIL teaches 3 grade.
We know how children can be inspired by these projects.

I have a postcard from the Four Corners Monument that I will address and drop in the mail. Sounds like a great Project.

When I was in elementary school, we did a similar project. I was raised in Meridian, MS and we each sent letters to oifficials in every other city named Meridian. Never got ONE reply. Dirty bearucrats!! Not gonna let that happen this time.
Hopefully they will get swamped with post catrd.

Thanks to all who sent postcards, now there are only about 10 days left before the project ends and Dylan and Ascher only have received two each.
Also,they are still lacking cards from Mass., RI, NH, VT, DE, Iowa, WY (Loyal?), NE (J. Penry?) KS, & OK.
BTW, Mrs. Keely said that the children were very excited yesterday when a box from Wisconsin arrived that contained a globe, courtesy of Dave TLusty - what a guy!!
