It must be Spring.?ÿ My truck, my house, the streets and everything else is yellow.?ÿ The pollen count is considered high at 80 particles per cubic meter with extremely high being 120.?ÿ Today the pollen count was above 5,300.?ÿ Thankfully I only have slight symptoms, watery eyes and a little sniffle, others are not so lucky and I have one friend (with breathing problems) who has been hospitalized.?ÿ I know you folks who are still getting snow don't have a whole lot of sympathy for us though.

I know I'm in the minority when I say that I hate Spring. But I've had 4 allergists in 3 states tell me that I'm the worst case they've ever encountered in their careers. The one in Tucson was probably the most blown away. He did the scratch test on my back and about half of them blew up so big that his scale couldn't measure them; he had to guess the actual sizes. So yeah. You can have Spring.
I have not found a cure for my hayfever and allergy ailments.
Great success has come in their relief with the use of herbal diuretics to keep them in check.
Began taking between 1 to 3 tabs of Powerthin a week and an occasaional 2 per day?ÿ when the sky was a hazy yellow & green during peak concentration and pollen count.
They changed the formula several years because ephedrine was among the original ingredients.
Still they aid in keeping my allergic reactions in check.

I've developed a helluva pine tree pollen allergy in my 40s that has been successfully mitigated by OTC antihistamines.?ÿ Lucky thing.
Aging.
It does not suck......so say the two or three close friends that can no longer debate the topic anymore.?ÿ Pain is the reminder you're still alive.

We just got rid of Oak pollen, Pine trees haven't started yet but the ragweed is is in full bloom. Fortunately I'm not allergic to to that stuff but SWMBO is and I hear about it!?ÿ ??ÿ
I've recently been taking some Sinusalia, which is a homeopathic allergy remedy. It seems to help but nothing takes it all away. Allegra seems to work best for me, but only if I take it when I really need it. Taking it daily as suggested works somewhat at first and then the effectiveness deteriorates after a few days and becomes pointless. I get to the point where I can barely see (and thus, cannot drive), nose runs like a damn faucet, and I have trouble breathing.
I'd recommend fresh raw minimally filtered local honey if you have allergies. Couple table spoons or more a day year round and most likely when pollen season rolls around your body will hardly notice the extra pollen in the air. One of the big reasons I keep a hive or two. Use to get terrible allergies to pollen but since I started doing this twenty or so years ago, nothing.
