A dime, six half dozen the other.
Doesn't really matter.
Never has.
Polling of cattle involves extended periods of breeding designed to minimize the amount of "horned" genetics. Even after quite a few generations there is still the possibility of an offspring having horns, but, generally what happens first is a situation where "scurs" occur. Scurs are formed of horn-like material, but only form smallish lumps under the hide or partially exposed that "float" as they are not attached to the skull.

Aw Hell, I thought this was about poles..
Measuring a Pole
An American is walking down the street when he sees a Polack with a very long pole and a yardstick. He's standing the pole on its end and trying to reach the top of it with his yardstick.
Seeing the Polack's ignorance, the American wrenches the pole out of his hand, lays it on the sidewalk, measures it with the yardstick, and says, "There! 10 feet long."
The Polack grabs the yardstick and shouts, "You idiot American! I don't care how long it is! I want to know how high it is!"
Y'all have a Happy New Year!:-)

If anybody ever gets the opportunity to enjoy Pulaski Days in Grand Rapids, MI - I recommend attending. Early October and is a feakin' blast.
It's kind of on the West side of town, where there is a substantial Polish population that like to frequent the membership halls (VFW, Eagles, Masons, etc) and they open them all up to the public for the weekend drunkfest,..opps I meant weekend festivities.

The Polka is a fun dance, can do all the moves used in most of the other dances. Had lots of fun doing the two-step, waltz and Polka, then there are the line dances. Was a member of a Country Western Dance team for a few years, danced at fairs, old folks homes and at the VA hospital, had a float with a barn outline and danced in parades. I had a very hard time learning to dance because I had never learned how and tried to do the two step to waltz music, took some lessons with little improvement, until someone told me to learn to count music, when I had that down, dancing became fun and then learned that all bands don't keep good time. Tried square dancing, but with my hearing loss I found everyone else was doing something different than what I had thought I heard the caller call. The dancers were gracious, bet they were glad I didn't keep it up.

Yep, that is a good time!
The other year there, a Polack locked his keys in his car, and it took him an hour using a coat hanger to get his family out!
