Look longer than a first glance...
I'm surely not a "Texas boy", but I'm guessing that the white is supposed to be above the red.
Maybe the flag should have an up arrow instead of a star? :-O
That flag was made backwards. The star is right but the red should be on the bottom. Made in China perhaps?
Flag is OK, [sarcasm]the rope is backwards.[/sarcasm]
No. The flag and rope are ok, it's the pole that is upside down!

Other than the obvious, and maybe it is, should be flown at equal or greater mast than that of our sister nation?
:-O
At the TSPS convention in Arlington last October, we noticed in our classroom that the Texas flag was hung upside down on the standard. During the break, we took the flag down and rehung it correctly before continuing on.
no no no its all about those crazy power lines !
You know, when I looked at that picture I immediately knew it was upside down. Now if you had asked me if the flag was supposed to be red over white or white over red I couldn't have told you. But the way it is in the picture it just looks upside down.
Did anyone else have this reaction?
Where Is The Boundary Monument ?
I mean the one that marks the boundary of the Lower 47 and the Great Texas Republic.
Oh, yeah the flag is gerfunkled to.

Maybe Texas is in distress.
The flag, rope and pole are all correct. The photo was obviously taken in Australia. :excruciating:
that is the new Texas flag-
by acquiescence.......:snarky:
it was accepted and used for an period of time....
Karoly- how in the world did you load that huge pic?
o.O

Sorry about that... Would be nice if the forum could resize pictures
I edited out the tag 🙂
But then that would mean the US flag was upside down.
A state flag should be flown lower than the U.S. Flag.
Only if they are flown on the same flag pole. Any state flag can be flown at the same height as the U.S. flag as long as they are on different flag poles.
Mr. Billings, you are the closest to the correct answer..
While picking my daughter up from school yesterday, I crested the hill and immediately thought someone had the flag upside down. I have seen that numerous times.
I then looked at the star. So the star is right and the red/white fields are wrong...or the fields are correct and upside down, and the star was sewn upside down.
I don't care to waste too much time on this, I just thought it was worth sharing.
Karoly- how in the world did you load that huge pic?
ah, the old control point that isn't anymore...
