Saw this several years ago on one of my rural travels... A Minnie Moline. Complete with Christmas lights! Zoom in to the drawbar and it looks rather worn....aka well used... Obviously a highly regarded tractor by its owner.

Crazy Midwest Farmers..
Kinda hard to see from an aerial:
Must be a "thing" up there:
And it must be a city cousin that put this '57 Chevy convertible on the roof of his car lot:
I drove past this the other day on the way to our OSLS Annual Convention. It has been there so many years I'm sure it is nothing but a bucket of rust by now.
The lot use to be a consignment lot. I sold an old MGA there in 1985 and that Chevy was up there back then..

Check out a few examples here, then check other sites about Stan Herd and his work. The man is a genius.

Water towers are another venue
When an exciting evening in town can be had counting flies on the pubic outhouse wall, alternatives must be explored. According to the following story this particular alternative dates to 1887. The truly amazing thing is the water tower. That area had only been legally settled for 10 years and they had already installed indoor plumbing!?!?!?!?!?
Water towers are another venue
My uncle's place when I was but a lad had a fairly tall standpipe close by. Calm Sunday afternoon's were spent "plinking" the water tower with .22s...until the sheriff stopped by and nicely asked us to stop.
It was a blast to listen for the different "rings"...depending on where you shot.
Oh..to be a kid again. If someone did that nowadays Homeland Security would surely be involved.

Wonder if he owns those fields or rents them?

I'm sure he doesn't own any of them. He is commissioned to do these. Frequently they are intentionally in the flight pattern close to some specific location. It's hard to imagine the amount of forward planning that must go into one of these huge creations.

Great work from Stan Herd.
A life-long (now deceased) friend of mine's MOS was 82B (construction battalion) while he was in Vietnam in '69-'70. Although I believe there were several of these built, he told the story of helping lay out this crop circle at LZ El Paso.
Apparently the CO was angry enough to start bustin' those responsible. But within a few days all the pilots were using it as a landmark and it was left in place for a while by request.

Crazy Midwest Farmers..
Those Minnie's must have incredible traction to be able to drive up the side of a silo and park on the top....
As far as planes go, that must of been one hairy landing...

He shoulda known better. Using a B747 for a waterslide is a real sin! Yep, there's a pool in the building underneath and there's supposed to be a hotel somewhere, maybe attached. I guess it's OK though, he's dead and the company is bankrupt.
I'm not mentioning any names. 🙁
