49 out of 50

A teenager could guess half of them when a music show has options of a western, a horror movie or a word that refers to music.

The one I think I missed was a movie I never watched and I had not watched any of the three options.

Didn't even try because I don't do well on that type of trivia. Child of the 50's & 60's but have never payed attention to entertainers, movies or music. If I hear music on the car radio and like it I'll listen if not change station or turn down volume. Much of the time radio volume is at minimum and turned up when weather or news is on. Don't listen to the chatter between the songs so don't ask me which artists I like.

46 out of 50. Some were super easy to guess simply due to the pictures, other movies or shows I just wasn't familiar with at all.

49/50 but only because I clicked the answer before the page was completely loaded. The sad part is I was able to ID 49 of the shows without the answer list.

I was getting them all right until halfway through some ad popped up on my phone and I couldn't get back to the quiz. I'm pretty sure I would have gotten most of them. Just don't ask me anything about the entertainment world in the last 25 years.

Me either, last and final time I went to a movie theater was taking the kid's to see "ET". However I may have seen "Up in Smoke" but can't remember. 😉

I'm one of those weirdos that prefer to read the book and imagine my own cast of characters, rather than have Hollywood do it for me. Too me personal imagination is more entertaining. 😎

I once heard a quote about the arrival of television. Someone said they didn't like it as well as radio because radio had better pictures.

When I was a kid there were a few places in western OK my father use to take us fishing and camping. Anything west of OKC was just flat prairie with almost no trees anywhere. Nowadays almost every fence line and pasture has some good sized trees.

A few years ago I was working out that way and got into a jaw session with an old timer that had lived there his whole life. I mentioned how many trees had popped up in 50 years. I think I mentioned global warming as the culprit. The old man shook his head no...and told me "TV".

His opinion was that before tv there was time after supper when there was still some sunlight and therefor time to still "get something done"...like clean out piss elms from the hedgerows and fences. He thought that since tv had come around nobody ventured back out after their evening meal.

I did so well it must be clear to all that I spent my youth not doing all those wild and crazy things that idle time uses in the "devil's workshop".

I did pretty good too...and I pretty much did all those wild and crazy things you mentioned. I guess I also found the time to take in a lot of TV also....;)

Got the "IE has stopped working" message going to question 36. I waited it out then refreshed and it went back to question 1. I suppose I could have started over and cheated on the two I had missed in the first 35, but I'm not quite that bored.
