Took this picture earlier in the week just north of the airport in Ada, Ok.

Looks drafty.

ps - I'm sure it was for deer hunting...not cats.

Why do you presume the two are mutually exclusive? 😀

I've excuted a couple "go arounds" over the years because of deer on the runway in Albany (ABY)...

I was visiting

my father a couple of weeks ago and wandering through an old barn full of junk. There propped up against the wall was an old wall clock covered with dust. When I scraped it off it was a Longines. My father said it was from the old ABY airport that was torn down in the late '50s. It was headed fo the scrap heap and he rescued it. I've tried to find a value on it (Longines are expensive) but I haven't been able to find anything on wall clocks.

Maybe $500 Andy

Look here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-VINTAGE-LONGINES-WATCH-CO-ADVERTISING-ELECTRIC-WALL-CLOCK-/271064144511?

Is it an electric advertising clock, an airline would be tops, or more like a railroad station regulator clock?

Paul,

You may be right. This clock is AC powered with two power cords. One for the movement and one for the light inside. It is about 24 inches in Diameter.

$4.95

Seeing as how they put everything on it upside down and the hour hand is dislocated severely.
