Original owners, way back in the 70's and early 80's.... My first in-laws are from Eden, near Hamburg...we called it Frank and Teresa's, I never heard it as The Anchor Bar until many years later 🙂

Poughkeepsie is about 6 hours east, and CT is about 8, as is NYC if you turn south at Poughkeepisie.

We're seriously discussing it...my cousins and I would love to go there and see the sights!! Scott Z also said if we ever get there to let him know and maybe we could get a tour of the buildings. How close are you to NYC? We're trying to figure out the cheapest/best way to get there...and not have to use a car; just depend on the subway and other public transportation. I'm a newbie so I have no clue where to start!! Cousins are clueless too cause they are "Upstate New Yorkers" as they say... B-)

I'm a couple of counties north in Maryland; but am currently (as of last week) working in Rockville for a firm that also has offices in DC and Chantilly. We should try and get together sometime - I think Karoly is occasionally in Alexandria visiting family as well.
