Those temps look good to me! Comfortable daytime outside temps, perfect sleeping temps! Could not ask for anything better to be sure!

I may have to apply for disability, I worked in sub-freezing Temps all day today.?ÿ

Some of the ground is actually frozen for a couple of inches. Yeah I realize you folks in the frozen north will laugh at that but ya don't see that often here.?ÿ

Time for more bourbon?ÿ

Today started in the upper 20's but with ice everywhere from yesterday's rain and fog. ?ÿSchool started two hours late so everyone could at least see the sheet of ice they were driving on. Will be in the 50's soon.

Mid 30's here today. Feels like Florida weather, compared to last week. Can work the entire morning without gloves and the batteries last all day.

They added three new colors to the radar map. We usually get; green, yellow, and red - with green being rain, yellow heavier rain, and the red meaning the bottoms fallen out.

Now we have green, pink, blue and purple on the radar screen. There's no map legend saying which is what, but once it gets below 50 it really probably doesn't matter.

Mixed and frozen, that sounds like a menu for daquries or margaritas. They can't just just say snow or hail ??

The worst part of the cold is remembering to have the right pair of button pushing gloves. Forget and you are bare handing it. I have yet to go flintlock hunting this season. At lunch yesterday with some other hunters I commented that I had no problem going out in this weather but danged if I was going to shoot a deer and then have to gut it out.

Or wearing too many gloves. The cold snap about two weeks back, had a great idea that I'd put my leather gloves over the brown knit gloves. That didn't work, couldn't feel my fingers, and hurt like hell when my fingers started warming up.

The midcontinental rollercoaster ride continues. ?ÿTwo weeks ago we were below zero actual. ?ÿLast Tuesday afternoon it hit 60 and a snake attempted to cross the road. ?ÿHad to stop and take a closer look. ?ÿSnakes in January are incredibly rare here. ?ÿNow, back to zero actual with -20 wind chill at times.

-17f this morning, so I just didn't care to shovel the patio and deck. It will have to wait till tomorrow.

?ÿ

On the bright side it will be in the 40's Thursday when I'm out on the river surveying, hope is nice and frozen since I have to cross it.
