Time for you Polar Bears to put away the BBQ's and make sure the snow blower still starts.
It's already plunging into the mid '70's here at night. ???? ?ÿ
Don't start!!!
?ÿ
@geeoddmike
At my age I'm lucky to get the year correct. ?????ÿ
Thank you
Don't start!!!
?ÿ
Not yet, we have 98L to keep an eye on. So it's time to see if the generator still starts, sigh......

Rock you like a Hurricane...

1. The BBQ is out all year.?ÿ
2. yer learn in?? was drilled in like mine - everything was a 21 - equinox or solstice- it doesn??t change easily, now you have to say ??around the 21st???.
3. even though Al Chace isn??t on here anymore, I??ll still wish the rest of you Pagans ??Happy Equinox?.
that goes for the rest of y??all, too.
My body tells me last night was THE CHANGE.?ÿ It was 93 and sunny yesterday, a storm came blowing in right at dusk and brought fall with it.?ÿ Cloudy and 63 today.?ÿ Mother Nature and Atlas got their schedules together presuming Mother Nature is in charge of the weather and Atlas holds the earth in the right orientation.
FL/GA - you're from south of the Mason Dixon so you SHOULD know that BBQ is a verb NOT a noun.?ÿ BBQ (or barbecue) is what you do when you cook pork slowly at relatively low temperatures and with smoke involved.?ÿ A grill is what is used to cook meat at relatively high temperatures over charcoal or gas.?ÿ And then there are the folks from Texas who actually cook beef low and slow. I must admit though that smoked brisket is some dang good eatin'.
Andy
100 yesterday afternoon, 57 with drizzle this morning.?ÿ Something changed.
You are right, of course, but I honestly don't know what non-Southerners call the thingy they burn meat on at social gatherings so I just stuck in something simple hoping they would "get the picture". Poor souls, no grillin 'n chillin' on New Years day. Well maybe chillin'. ?????ÿ
I just boiled and froze about 30 pounds of peanuts to enjoy through the winter, if they make it that long. I have introduced 4 of my neighbors from "up north" to boiled peanuts in the last week or so and I think I may have created a monster.?ÿ Now they want more.?ÿ My grill and smoker run year round too.?ÿ I may have to dash out to flip the burgers (or whatever) but I still use it.

We call those Treagers?ÿ
?ÿ
Some uppity ups use a Big green Egg
?ÿ
Up here, in Puyallup, it's always between 45 and 65; we cook outdoors year round, too. But don't tell anyone, it's a secret...
?ÿ
@RADAR, from the looks of your setup I believe we could be friends.?ÿ I don't think I've ever smoked more than 4 butts at a time but that looks like it could get the job done in about 14 to 16 hours.?ÿ Looks good.
Andy
Treagers?ÿ
Cripes those things cost more than a new Hyundai. Nice setup! ?????ÿ
?ÿ
Roasting wienies on a cut off little branch over a brush pile burning is as close as I get to heating meat outdoors.?ÿ I will eat food that others prepare but you won't catch me doing it myself.
Different strokes for different folks.
I also do not camp or canoe or water ski or snow ski or ice skate or..............lots of other things other people enjoy.

When you work for Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Boeing, or any number of other top companies; such amenities are a drop in the bucket...
?ÿ
?ÿ
@dougie?ÿ
Well anytime Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Boeing, etc want to drop one of them babies in my bucket thay are welcome.
Now I have to go fill up all the gas tanks for the generator thanks to this...
Thought that was a cross-section of a non-yet-ripe avocado.
